The world of jewelry captured Rita’s heart at a young age when she started making friendship bracelets. She has increasingly developed her craft since then & has been working professionally as a jeweler for 15 years. Her current fascination is beautifully combining the organic elements of plants & fungi with traditional metals & gemstones.

Message from Rita:

We’re a family business nestled in the beautful rolling hills of the Enchanted Mountains, NY, and we are so grateful you’re here. Making jewelry has been an important part of my life since childhood. After studying metal smithing & jewelry art at university, I worked tirelessly for years at a corporate jewelry company. I learned a lot, but my creative drive was being crushed and I started calling myself “Robot Rita.” When my husband & I became parents, I had a newfound sense of what’s possible to create in life, and knew I needed to return to my creative roots. With ten years of parenting under our belts, two children & countless memories, I’ve never stopped designing & making jewelry. Together my husband and I have worked hard to have a home where we could set up our jewelry workshop. Now I get to share the joy of creative work with my family & our oldest child joins me in drawing & curating new jewelry designs. We’re often romping around these Enchanted Mountains we call home, identifying & collecting new plants to preserve for our Familiar Flourish.
